Welcome to the 2024 Bengali Film Festival!

Bengalis of New York proudly hosted the Second Annual New York Bengali Film Festival — a vibrant celebration of Bengali culture, storytelling, and cinematic excellence.

Held in summer 2024, the festival brought together audiences, creators, and cultural advocates for an inspiring weekend of film screenings, panel discussions, and community connections in the heart of New York City.

The lineup featured a bold and diverse collection of films from across the Bengali diaspora — from Kolkata to New York to Dhaka and beyond. Each screening was carefully selected to reflect the depth, complexity, and beauty of the Bengali experience across generations, geographies, and genres.
